South Beach Local Bus

The South Beach Local is the cheapest and most scenic way to travel South Beach. The shuttles breeze around the Beach every 10-15 minutes, stopping at numerous bus stops. The shuttle is air conditioned and the fare is only 25 cents.

Monday to Saturday (7:45am - 1am)
Sundays and Holidays (10am - 1am)

Metrorail

The 22 accessible Metrorail stations are about one mile apart, providing easy access for bus riders, pedestrians, and passengers being dropped off and picked up.

Metrorail operates from 5 a.m. to midnight, seven days a week.
Metrorail service frequency:

Trains arrive every 10 minutes during weekday rush hours
Every 15 minutes at midday
Every 30 minutes from about 7:30 p.m. until closing
Weekend service runs every 30 minutes

Note: The Metrorail schedule may vary up to 12 minutes on weekdays after 8 p.m. and on weekends due to "single tracking," when southbound and northbound trains alternate trips on the same track while maintenance is being conducted on the opposite track. The Metromover inner loop and the outer loop (Omni and Brickell) run from 5 a.m. to midnight seven days a week. Trains arrive frequently. The schedule may change for special events.
